How to use curlcombo

Watch the tutorials below to learn how to apply curlcombo for strong hold with maximum definition or a softer hold with volume. The amount of water and product you use will determine your final result.
Strong hold + maximum definition

Strong hold + maximum definition

Damp hair • Generous product • Small sections

  1. 1 Start on damp hair and work in small sections.
  2. 2 Apply a generous amount of curlcombo to each section.
  3. 3 Starting directly at the roots, smooth the product thoroughly from root to tip using your fingers.
  4. 4 Continue smoothing until the product is evenly distributed.
  5. 5 Do not rake the product through or use a styling brush. Do not separate the curls after they have dried.
  6. 6 Different curl types need different amounts. If your curls are fine or looser, use less product to achieve the same level of definition without applying too much.
  7. 7 Diffuse or air dry the hair until it is fully dry for strong hold and maximum elongation.
Soft hold + volume

Soft hold + volume

Wet hair • Less product • Medium sections

  1. 1 Start on soaking-wet hair.
  2. 2 Use only a small amount of curlcombo.
  3. 3 Wet your hands thoroughly and smooth the product between your palms with water until it becomes a thin, fully diluted consistency
  4. 4 Smooth the diluted product thoroughly into the hair from root to tip.
  5. 5 Continue adding water with wet hands as needed so the product remains diluted and spreads evenly.
  6. 6 Diffuse or air dry the hair until it is fully dry, once fully dry you can break the gel cast and fluff the curls out for more volume.
